Our
office handles collections. The procedure we use entails
the following:
- Send a letter to debtors requesting
payment under the Fair Debt Collections Act.
- File suit and obtain judgment.
- Obtain financial disclosures.
- Garnish or have attachment warrant issued.
- Collect the debt.
Our firm handles collections on a contingency
basis or on an hourly basis. There is an initial fee to
open a file.
If a suit has to be filed, the client
is responsible for al costs of the suit. Contingency-based
means that the client pays all costs for the suit and any
sums collected are split 2/3 to the client, 1/3 to Nitschke
& Sika, S.C. Nitschke & Sika, S.C. will handle collections
on an hourly basis upon client requests.Court fees are different
for every county and are subject to change at any time.
