Our office handles collections. The procedure we use entails the following:



  1. Send a letter to debtors requesting payment under the Fair Debt Collections Act.
  2. File suit and obtain judgment.
  3. Obtain financial disclosures.
  4. Garnish or have attachment warrant issued.
  5. Collect the debt.
Our firm handles collections on a contingency basis or on an hourly basis. There is an initial fee to open a file.

If a suit has to be filed, the client is responsible for al costs of the suit. Contingency-based means that the client pays all costs for the suit and any sums collected are split 2/3 to the client, 1/3 to Nitschke & Sika, S.C. Nitschke & Sika, S.C. will handle collections on an hourly basis upon client requests.Court fees are different for every county and are subject to change at any time.
